Leonard Dillon, conocido también como Ethipian, es miembro fundador de los legendarios The Ethiopians. Sin embargo, sus comienzos en la música fueron bajo el nombre de Jack Sparrow, con el que no logró trascender, pero lo empujaron a formar The Ethiopians con el que logró la fama.
Para 1986, año en que se unió a The Gladiators, ya tenía grabado dos discos como solista con su nombre. Uno este que no había sido editado antes y hoy sale a la luz gracias a Omnivore Recordings.
